ABOUT KAREN

I am not just an interior designer. 

Beyond conventional interior design skills, I have wide-ranging building skills acquired over years of experience. Combined with my flair for colour, comfort, and knowledge of the property market, this gives me a 360° view of a project. Pure interior designers do not usually have this competency.

I have worked with architects, builders and homeowners to produce fabulous finished buildings which work for the end-user. On the other hand, if all you need is curtains, I can do that too!

I see my role as ensuring that the client gets the very best that their budget allows.  My services are also priced very competitively and are flexible depending on the level of involvement that you, the client, needs from me.  Some clients just need a few ideas to get started and others require a full service from start to finish.

Above all, value for money has always been my guide; I like to recycle where appropriate and am  as good at rescuing ‘that favourite armchair’ as I am at ensuring the client gets the materials and quality they have specified and paid for.
